Start with the exact input
Rainbow Six Siege combines aiming, leaning, stance changes and gadget input. A useful controller check isolates those actions. Start with the in-game Controls menu and a native controller baseline rather than assuming a shooting profile from another game will fit Siege.
What to record before changing settings
| Check | Write down | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Aim and lean | Record ADS and lean behavior, including hold or toggle choices. | A held modifier may change which action a later input performs. |
| Sensitivity and deadzone | Write down the actual controller values before changing them. | Stick drift and a different response can look like a profile problem. |
| Stance and gadgets | Test crouch, prone and gadget selection independently. | Contextual controls can conflict when several actions are sent together. |
A useful first comparison
- Confirm movement and camera input with the ordinary supported controller setup. If that fails, resolve the connection before adding an input profile.
- Use an available training environment to compare aim, lean and stance one by one. Start from the same stance and avoid changing the layout during the test.
- If an input repeats or stays held, check the physical button, toggle setting and profile description separately. Save the original settings so you can return to the baseline.
When to repeat the check
Ubisoft documents controller sensitivity and deadzone controls; its input policies and anti-cheat guidance are separate from hardware connection support. Recheck the current game guidance and exact controller layout after an update.
Check the current game and platform rules for your setup. A controller connection and permission to use additional input hardware are separate questions.
Documentation and next steps
Use Rainbow Six Siege official information for the current game documentation and the Cronus hardware guide for the device connection. This article does not claim a current GamePack exists for every platform or game edition.
Ozark ERA is an NBA 2K27 product. The other game articles are general controller references; they do not extend ERA support to those games.
